Swollen fat pads?
Apparently, the reason why my knees were hurting like mothafuckas during that 12000 m steady state erg today: So there are these fat pads under my knees, right. Their purpose in life is to cushion the patella as it rubs against the tibia when the knee joint extends/contracts. A little part of them gets exposed when the knee is bent, so they got banged up when i fell off my scooter last week....
